China 1857-60 (2), no clasp (Geo. Hustler, 44th Regt.); 1 clasp, Taku Forts 1860 (Michael Linnan, 44th Regt.) both officially impressed, the first with brooch marks to the obverse, the second with detached suspension, good fine (2) £120-140

With copy papers for James Hustler, believed to be the same, which show entitlement to clasp for Taku Forts 1860, as well as medals for the Crimea with Alma, Inkermann and Sebastopol clasps, Turkish Crimea, and Long Service.

Private Michel Linnan served with the 84th during the Indian Mutiny and is entitled to the medal with clasps for Defence of Lucknow and Lucknow. He transferred to the 44th in March 1859, for service in China, and volunteered into the 106th Regiment in November 1865. Sold with copy service papers.
