Crimea 1854-56, 1 clasp, Alma (Corpl. W. Stewart, 33rd Regt.) officially impressed naming, good very fine £400-500

Corporal William Stewart was wounded at the battle of the Alma, 20 September 1854, and killed in action at the assault on the quarries on 7 June 1855 (Ref London Gazette 17 October 1854 and 22 June 1855). He was the only man of the regiment to be killed in this action.
