Ralph Lindsay Bagshaw was admitted to No. 2 General Hospital, Havre on 28 September 1916 suffering from a gunshot wound to the scalp. As a result of this wound he was detained in hospital for six weeks, and subsequently transferred to the Canadian Forestry Corps.
