D.C.M. London Gazette 18 February 1918: ‘For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. He kept up communication under heavy fire throughout an action, showing great determination and ability.’

M.S.M. London Gazette 26 May 1917 (Egypt). One of only five M.S.M’s. to the 10th London Regiment.

Thomas Boyce served in Gallipoli from the 10th until the 15th August 1915, when he was wounded in the attack on Chocolate Hill. He was hospitalised in Malta, and on recovery from his wounds joined his battalion in Palestine on 5 April 1916, where he served until 17 September 1918.
