Distinguished Service Cross, G.V.R., in case of issue; 1914-15 Star (Sig. Bosn., R.N.) together with a file containing 23 ‘flimsies’ covering the period January 1909 to November 1928, nearly extremely fine (2) £400-500

D.S.C. London Gazette 17 July 1919: Chief Signal Boatswain Joseph Harry Robins ‘For distinguished services during the war.’

Robins served in H.M.S.
Bacchante from August 1914, and in H.M.S. Malaya from February 1916, in which ship he was present at the battle of Jutland. He was in H.M.S. Revenge from April 1917, flag ship of Admiral Sir Charles Madden. He served as Signal Lieutenant-Commander during the Second War.
