Flight Sergeant Ronald Alfred Edmonds, Observer, 207 Squadron, Royal Air Force, was killed on 24 July 1942, when his Lancaster crashed near Krefeld, Germany, whilst on operations against Duisburg. The entire crew are buried in Reichswald Forest War Cemetery.
