Crimea 1854-56, 1 clasp, Sebastopol (Captn., R.A.) contemporary engraved naming; Legion of Honour, Knight’s breast badge; Order of the Medjidie, 5th class; Turkish Crimea 1855, Sardinian issue, all fitted with contemporary silver ribbon buckles, good very fine (4) £300-350

Lieutenant-Colonel Spencer Delves Broughton served in the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, in the trenches with the siege train before Sebastopol, and at the bombardment of April and of June (6th and 17th): Medal and Clasp, Knight of the Legion of Honour, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal.
