The Cheshire Regiment, a very good quality officer’s silver, gilt and green enamel large size forage cap badge, the facetted eight pointed star with gilt overlay of a circle bearing the unit title and the acorn spray within, this upon a green enamel background, marked on the reverse, ‘S’ J.R.GAUNT LONDON/LATE JENNENS’, this dates the badge to c1923/24, gilt worn on the central mount otherwise excellent condition £50-80
