Scots Guards, an eight sided die-stamped brass bed plate bearing the regimental badge and unit title further engraved 2692685/P.DOBBIN; Scottish Rifles, an interesting ‘home’ engraved brass plaque of Boer War vintage, ‘PTE JAMES THOMPSON/NO6332 G COMPANY/2ND SCOTTISH RIFLES/2ND DIVISION/4TH BRAGADE (sic)/SOUTH AFRICAN/FIELD FORCE’, four screw holes for attachment; a brass plaque from a Royal Naval gun, ‘5in VB Mk II/Made by Rl Carr Dept 1884/Exd at Woolwich 1886/Wt Carr 111/2 CWT/Admy No.187’ broad arrow mark. Two white metal reproduction badges Mine Clearance Service and 91st Highlanders officers’ shoulder belt overlay, good overall condition (5) £30-50
