Crimea 1854-56, 1 clasp, Sebastopol (1718 Pte. William Game, 56th Regt.) regimentally engraved naming, edge bruising and contact marks, therefore good fine £60-80

William Game was born in Branfield, Hertfordshire, and enlisted for the 56th Regiment at Hertford on 2 August 1839, aged 20. He served overseas in North America, Gibraltar, Bermuda, the Crimea and East Indies, and is entitled to the Crimea Medal with Sebastopol clasp and the Turkish Medal. He was tried seven times by Court Martial and was discharged at Portsmouth on 26 April 1866. Sold with copy discharge papers.
