Military General Service 1793-1814, 1 clasp, Talavera (John Webb, 3rd Foot) some edge nicks, otherwise better then very fine £650-750

John Webb was born at Wallingford, near Reading, Berkshire, and enlisted for the 3rd Foot in December 1807, a Volunteer from the Tower Hamlets Militia. He was discharged on 15 March 1815, in consequence of ‘a gun shot wound of right hand in France’. He was admitted as a Chelsea Pensioner on 31 March 1815, and died on 17 March 1852. Sold with copy discharge papers.
