John Connors enlisted in the Military Train in Glasgow in December 1859 and subsequently served in the 4th Battalion in New Zealand in the period 1864-67, when he was employed in the Wanganui and Waikato districts. He appears to have deserted in early 1869; sold with copied medal roll verification and muster details.
