New Zealand 1845-66, reverse undated, bronze specimen, no suspension, extremely fine £80-120
Various dated-reverse bronze specimens of the New Zealand Medal are known to have been struck by the Royal Mint in the early 1870s, possibly as part of a plan to reward co-operative Maoris; Mint records would suggest that just two specimens of the undated-reverse variety were struck.
