French First Empire Period Copper Cups, With Possible Waterloo Connection, comprising one large and three small coppered pewter cups or measures, the large 12.8 cms in height with an approximate capacity of a half pint, the three smaller 4.9 cms in height and capable of holding a good dram. All four are engraved with the Imperial crown over N and the bases of all four are engraved St. Cloud; the engraving of ‘St. Cloud’ varying in quality, good overall condition (4) £300-400

Note: These items are said to have been removed from Napoleon’s carriage after the Battle of Waterloo (no provenance).
