Royal House of Hanover, a Full Dress Epaulette for a member of the Staff of the Royal Household c. 1900, a very fine and scarce example, the gold lace strap outlined with red and blue silk, gilt metal ribbed crescent enclosing a gilt metal and silver Guelphic crown over a square shaped shield this with a ground of crimson silk which bears a silver rearing White Horse of Hanover on green enamel ground, the small finial button in gilt displaying a Guelphic crown over a shield bearing the White Horse of Hanover, narrow unboxed bullions the whole lined with dark pink cloth, very slight surface mothing to the lining otherwise very fine condition £150-250
