1st Goorkha Rifles Officer’s Hall Marked Silver Pouch Belt Plate, an extremely rare example of two part construction shows the Imperial crown over a five pointed star with a circular background of battle honours ‘Bhurtpore, Aliwal, Sobraon, Afghanistan’ overlaid with a circular disc ‘Goorkha Rifles’ and enclosing the figure ‘1’ over crossed kukris, the back plate section hall marked Birmingham 1901 by B & P (Bent & Parker), complete with two screw post fasteners, very good condition £300-500
