Arthur Morris Heath was born in Liverpool. Serving with the 4th Battalion Cheshire Regiment, he entered the Balkan (Gallipoli) theatre of war on 8 August 1915. Later invalided from Gallipoli suffering from Gastritis. Discharged to a commission in April 1916. Serving as a 2nd Lieutenant with the 33rd Battalion Machine Gun Corps (Infantry), he was killed in action during the battle of Lys, 12 April 1918. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial. He was the son of George G. and Mary Heath, of 30 Rochester Road, Rockferry, near Birkenhead.
