James Jenkins enlisted on 8 February 1915. Serving in the Connaught Rangers he entered the Balkan theatre of war on 22 September 1915. He was discharged due to sickness on 17 July 1917 and awarded a Silver War Badge (not with lot). With copied m.i.c. and roll extract.
