Private Alfred L. Cripps/Alfred John Cripps, 1st Battalion Royal Irish Rifles, entered France/Flanders on 6 November 1914. Later transferred to the Northumberland Fusiliers. With copied m.i.c. - entitled to the clasp to the 1914 Star.
