Anthony Langan was born in Ardwick, Manchester and enlisted at Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire. Serving with the Manchester Regiment, he entered France on 9 November 1914. With the 18th Battalion Manchester Regiment, he died of wounds, France/Flanders, on 30 July 1917 and was buried in The Huts Cemetery, Dickebusch, Belgium. He was the son of Anthony and Mary Langan, of Audenshaw, Lancashire. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details. Clasp not confirmed.
