John Thomas Fullerton was born in Co. Tyrone. A member of the 4th Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, he attested for regular service with the regiment at Omagh on 28 January 1891, aged 15 years, 10 months. With the regiment he served in South Africa, November 1899-February 1903. Discharged in August 1903. Re-attested for the regiment in January 1905. Discharged as no longer physically fit for war service at Londonderry on 29 January 1915. Awarded the Silver War Badge (not with lot). With copied service papers and copied roll extracts. Clasps confirmed.
