Distinguished Service Order, G.V.R., silver-gilt, gold and enamels, complete with top suspension; 1914-15 Star (Capt. H. Aplin. R. Muns. Fus.); British War and Victory Medals, with M.I.D. oak leaf (Major H. Aplin); Legion of Honour, Chevalier, silver, gold and enamels, the first and last with minor enamel damage, otherwise good very fine (5) £1400-1600

Major Henry Aplin was formerly a Master at the College of St. Columba, Dublin. He served with the 7th Royal Munster Fusiliers at Suvla Bay, where he was slightly wounded.
