18th Century, Scotland, Kinross-shire, Loch Leven, Kempson’s Penny, 1797, castle in ruins, rev. girl treading linen in a tub (DH 1). Brilliant and practically as struck, a most attractive example and one of the finest known, rare (£1,000-1,200)
