18th Century, Slough, William Till and John Peckham, Proof mule Halfpenny, 1794, in silver, arms of the Till family, rev. arms of the Peckham family, john peckham chemist & druggist around, edge plain, 11.62g/12h (DH 25). Adhesive remains on obverse and a minor rim nick at 12 o’clock, otherwise very fine, reverse better and toned, with the usual flaw on the rim, of the highest rarity; the only known specimen in silver (£400-600)
