17th Century, Woughton-on-the-Green, William Coale, Farthing, Grocers’ arms, 1.14g/6h (Berry & Morley 206; BW. 154D). Very fine and nicely patinated, of the highest rarity and the only issue for this village; the best of the two known specimens [other in the County Museum, Aylesbury] (£350-450)
