17th Century, Stony Stratford, Robert Anderton, Farthing, three cloves, 0.95g/6h (Berry & Morley 162; BW. 120); Hugh Blatso, Farthing, Drapers’ arms, 0.81g/6h (Berry & Morley 163; BW. 122) [2]. First very fine and nicely patinated, second fair to fine and extremely rare, only two other specimens known, both in the County Museum, Aylesbury (£100-150)

Robert Anderton, mercer; wife’s name Mary (†March 1675). He lived on the west side of the town.
Hugh Bletsoe, draper; first wife’s name was Mary (†September 1654); married secondly Eleanor Clark of Wicken, February 1655 (†October 1664). He also lived on the west side of the town
