Offa (757-796), Penny, Light coinage, Portrait issue, probably London, Dud, diademed bust right, ornamental spray in front of bust, offa rex around, rev. dvd divided by four enclosed and jewelled lobes around a cross of petals, trefoil-headed sceptres in angles, 1.20g/10h (Blunt 31; N 310; S 905). Obverse good fine, reverse very fine, very rare (£1,500-2,000)
