Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 1 clasp, Cape Colony (Btswn: C. G. Reypert, R.N., H.M.S. Doris) large officially impressed naming; King’s South Africa 1901-02, 2 clasps, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902 (Boatswain C. G. Reypert, R.N.) officially impressed naming; British War Medal (Ch. Bosn. C. G. Reypaert. R.N.) note spelling of surname on last, mounted court style for display, good very fine £800-1000

Charles Grafton Reypert was born at Portsea, Hampshire, on 12 August 1861, and joined the Royal Navy as a Boy 2nd Class in September 1877. He became a Boatswain on 19 November 1890, and was promoted to Chief Boatswain on 6 December 1917. He served aboard H.M.S.
Doris, with effect from 11 September 1899, for transport duties in South Africa. Sold with copied record of service.
