82nd (Prince of Wales’s Volunteers) Regiment Peninsula Period Horn Drinking Beaker, 7.5 cms high, 6 cms across the top, of tapering shape the top and bottom embellished with pewter trim and engraved ‘Serjt Day/82 Regt., the pewter trim part missing at the base otherwise good condition for age £120-150

Sergeant Day served throughout the Peninsular War and received the Military General Service Medal with clasps for Vimiera, Corunna, Vittoria, Pyrenees, Nivelle and Orthes.
