Victory Medal 1914-19 (Capt. A. J. Rodger) very fine £50-70

Captain Alexander James Rodger, Royal Scots Fusiliers entered the Balkan theatre of war on 6 June 1915. He was awarded the Military Cross (London Gazette 4 June 1917). Seconded to the Indian Army (Reserve of Officers in July 1917 (London Gazette 31 August 1917) and was attached to the 35th Sikhs, where he commanded a company (London Gazette 17 January 1919). With copied gazette extracts and m.i.c. - entitled to a 1914-15 Star trio of medals.
