John Green was born in Chigwell and enlisted at Romford. Serving in the 2nd Battalion London Regiment, he died of wounds on 22 August 1918, aged 19 years. He was buried in the Longuenesse (St. Omer) Souvenir Cemetery. He was the son of Walter and Amelia Lydia Green, of 3 Forest View Cottages, Chigwell, Essex.

Charles Chambers was born in Lenham and enlisted at Maidstone. Serving with the 49th Battalion Machine Gun Corps, he was killed in action on 25 April 1918, aged 21 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial. He was the son of George and Mary Chambers, of The Red Lion, Lenham, Maidstone, Kent.
