Herbert James Hulme was born in Melbourne, Victoria on 28 February 1879. A Butcher by occupation, living at 63 Lincoln Street, Richmond, he enlisted and served in 5th Victorian Mounted Rifles from January 1901. In the Great War he enlisted into the Australian Imperial Force on 11 February 1915. With copied research.
