Pair: Private W. Griffiths, Canadian Army Medical Corps, killed in action, France/Flanders, 6 September 1916

William Griffiths was born in Chester, England on 23 August 1890. A Student by occupation, he attested for the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force at London, Ontario on 11 September 1916. Serving with No. 2 Field Ambulance Canadian Army medical Corps, he was killed in action, near Albert, on 6 September 1916, aged 27 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial.
