Mr George Robert Harland, of 27 Gordon Street, Scarborough was awarded the I.S.M. for 45 years unblemished service as a Postman. He began his service as a Boy Messenger in 1904. Served as a Head Postman in Scarborough since 1939. With newspaper cutting re the award.
Private Michael Usher, Durham Light Infantry, later served in the Tank Corps. With copied m.i.c. and roll extract.
