John William Warwick was born, lived and enlisted at Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Initially he served as Private 202029 in the Yorkshire Regiment. As Private G/14922 in the East Kent Regiment (The Buffs) he was killed in action on the Western Front on 30 October 1918, aged 32 years. He was buried in the Landrecies British Cemetery, Nord, France. He was the son of John and Mary Warwick, of Scarborough. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details. The medals, plaque and a Buffs cap badge mounted in a glazed frame.
