Sydney C. Jones first entered the French theatre of war on 3 December 1915 and was discharged to the Reserve in March 1919.

Albert John Scott enlisted in the 3rd Battalion, South Wales Borderers at Wrexham in June 1917, aged 32 years, having swiftly been placed on the Reserve after an earlier attempt in December 1915. Embarked for France in October 1917, he was posted to the 1st Battalion, Royal Welch Fusiliers, in which capacity he remained employed for the remainder of the war. He was, however, serving in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment at the time of his discharge in May 1919; sold with copied service record.
