Arthur Rippon enlisted on 4 April 1908. As a Private in the Yorkshire Regiment. he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 10 October 1915. He was discharged due to sickness on 7 March 1916 and awarded the Silver War Badge (not with lot). With copied m.i.c. and roll extract.
