Edwin Peers Holland was born in Manchester and enlisted at Bacup, Lancashire. Serving in the 1/5th Battalion East Lancashire Regiment, he was killed in action at Gallipoli on 17 June 1915. He was buried in the Redoubt Cemetery, Helles.
