Kenneth Arthur Charles Lock was born in Wandsworth on 9 November 1911 and in 1939 married Marjorie Goulding in Hendon. During the Second World War he served with the First Army in North Africa and then Italy. On 1 November 1947 he was commissioned a Lieutenant in the R.A.P.C. and served in Palestine. He was promoted Captain in 1951 and served in the Far East; then advanced to Major in 1958 and served with the Nigerian Military Force, Royal West African Forces. In 1959 he served in the UK and retired on 3 December 1966. He died at Torbay in 1986. With copied gazette extract and notes.
