Three: Corporal G. B. Crouch, 11th Hussars, wounded in action, Soupir, 16 September 1914

1914 Star, with copy clasp (5314 Cpl., 11/Hrs.); British War and Victory Medals (5314 Cpl., 11-Hrs.) nearly extremely fine (3) £120-160

George Barton Crouch enlisted on 3 February 1910. As a Corporal in the 11th Hussars he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 15 August 1914. He was wounded in the right hand by shell-fire at Soupir, 16 September 1914. Having been placed in the 12th Reserve Cavalry Regiment, he was discharged as a result of his wounds on 30 November 1914. He died in 1924. With copied m.i.c., roll extracts and other research. Clasp confirmed.
