George Wilkinson first appears in the musters of the 3rd Light Dragoons for April 1841. In the month of September 1842 he is shown as being in ‘Hospital in Kohistan’, the action at Cabul being fought on 15th September, so possibly wounded in action. He died on 15 July 1843.
