Military General Service 1793-1814, 7 clasps, Talavera, Albuhera, Salamanca, Vittoria, Pyrenees, Orthes, Toulouse (F. Fawcett, Drummer, 7th Foot) lower carriage a little distorted, edge bruising and contact marks, otherwise better than good fine £1600-1800

Drummer Francis Fawcett applied for a late pension on 25 November 1851 (Ref: WO 116/50). He was then aged 66, living in Darlington, a weaver by trade. He stated that he was discharged in 1815, having served for 7 years 9 months, and that he was wounded in the leg at Albuhera.
