L.I.) name re-engraved; Khedive’s Star, 1884-6, unnamed; Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 4 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Relief of Ladysmith, Transvaal (No. 970 A. Buttle, 2nd D.C.L.I.) last clasp loose; King’s South Africa 1901-02, 2 clasps (970 Pte. A. Buttle, 2nd Battalion Duke of Cornwalls Light Infantry) these two both renamed; with a British Empire Union Medal 1928, obverse: bust of Edward Prince of Wales, bronze, unnamed, pierced with ring suspension (ref.
