France, Danseuse, 1912, a large uniface struck bronze medal by H. Dropsy for Canale, young female dancer, back named (Cross des Escrimeurs 1925, Prix Offert à M. de Marolles par le president de la F.P.E.), 100mm (cf. Dropsy Exh. Cat. 1964, 27; cf. Baudey/Bricher 1992, 95; cf. DNW 35, 675). About extremely fine, an attractive and endearing image (£70-90)
