Henry VIII (1509-1547), Second coinage, Crown of the Double Rose, mm. rose, crowned hk [Henry and Katherine of Aragon] divided by rose on obv. only, reads aglie, franc and hiberi, Roman letters, double saltire stops on rev., 3.55gm (Whitton i; N 1788; S 2273). Has been polished and obverse legend partly double-struck, otherwise good fine (£250-300)
