George II (1727-1760), Proof Crown, 1732, roses and plumes, edge plain, 28.52gm (L & S 6; ESC 118; S 3686). Very lightly rubbed on King’s lower jaw, otherwise brilliant and practically as struck, toned, very rare (£2,200-2,500)
