William III (1694-1702), Proof Crown, 1695, first bust, edge plain, struck en médaille, 29.13gm (L & S 1; ESC 88). Usual striking flaws, otherwise brilliant and practically as struck, attractively toned, extremely rare and one of the finest known specimens (£4,000-5,000)
