9th Regiment of Light Dragoons (Lancers) Other Ranks Lance Cap Plate 1816-1837. An extremely rare example in die-stamped light weight sheet brass (23.5 x 13.5 cm on the curve) and featuring the Royal Arms of Great Britain 1813-1837 above the single honour bar ‘Peninsula’. Three pairs of attachment holes, the top point finial missing, further attachment pins with old solder bases to the rear, most of the pins lacking, some slight age staining otherwise in very good condition
