France, Le Jeune Boverie, 1844, a uniface cast bronze medal signed Luignon, for the Conservatoire Royale de Musique, bust right, foundry mark c below truncation, 200mm (BDM –). High relief in the style of David d’Angers, very fine and very rare; mounted on green velvet backing, with hook for suspension (£120-150)
