Letters Patent of William IV, dated 21 April 1835, appointing Robert Monsey Rolfe to the position of Solicitor General in place of Sir William Webb Follett, headed with the Royal arms and with portraits of William IV and Queen Adelaide; attached to a wax copy of the Great Seal of William IV, 155mm. In excellent order and housed in the original tin box; the whole contained in a contemporary maroon portmanteau-type box, inside of lid lined with pages from The Sporting Magazine (£150-250)
